We are pleased to share that we applied for building permits for this unique and historic storybook-style home in North Vancouver with construction set to begin in late 2023.
This home was built in 1909 and is recognized by the city as a significant historical building with it being the only storybook-style house in North Vancouver (also known as Hansel & Gretel Style home).
Original Heritage Home
This unique home, which was previously zoned for single family use with a heritage ‘A’ status, will be redeveloped into four separate units that will be for sale. We will be transforming this home into a duplex, with two in-fill units added to the back. The development also includes four parking stalls. This project is an excellent example of how to preserve a home’s character while also providing modern, green and affordable housing options for the community.
